Mosaic（以下「本アプリ」）は、写真や動画の見せたくない部分を隠すためのアプリです。 本ポリシーは、本アプリが取り扱うデータと、その取り扱い方針について説明します。
1. 取得するデータ
本アプリは、ユーザーが選択して読み込んだ写真・動画（以下「素材データ」）を取り扱います。 素材データおよびそこから得られる情報（顔の位置など）は、すべてデバイス上で処理されます。 このほか、隠し方の種類と粗さの設定をデバイス内に保存します。 本アプリは、氏名・メールアドレス・位置情報・デバイス識別子・利用状況などを取得しません。 アカウントの登録も必要ありません。
2. データの保存場所
素材データは、編集中のあいだデバイスのメモリおよび一時領域にのみ置かれます。 加工した結果の保存先は、ユーザー自身の写真ライブラリのみです。 素材データが、開発者および第三者のアクセスできるサーバーへ送信されることはありません。
3. 開発者によるサーバー保管の不存在
本アプリは、開発者運営のサーバーにユーザーデータを保存しません。 そもそも本アプリはネットワーク通信を行いません。 アナリティクス、クラッシュレポート、トラッキング識別子の送信は行いません。広告も含みません。
4. 第三者サービス
本アプリの動作のため、以下の第三者サービスを利用することがあります。
- Apple 写真 / PhotosUI – 素材データの読み込みと、加工結果の保存に利用します。 読み込みはOSが提供する写真選択画面を通じて行われ、ユーザーが選んだ項目だけが本アプリへ渡されます。 保存のためにのみ「追加のみ」の権限を要求します。Apple のプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
- Apple Vision – 顔の検出に利用します。処理はデバイス上で完結し、 画像や検出結果が外部へ送信されることはありません。
- Apple App Store / StoreKit – サブスクリプション「Mosaic Pro」の購入処理に利用します。 購入に関する情報は Apple が取り扱い、開発者が受け取るのは購入の有無のみです。 Apple のプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
5. 顔データの取り扱い
本アプリは、顔を隠す場所を決めるためだけに顔の検出を行います。以下がそのすべてです。
- 取得するもの — 画像・動画の中で顔が占める四角い領域の位置と大きさ、および傾き（角度）のみです。 目・鼻・口の詳細な位置（顔の特徴点）、顔の特徴を数値化したデータ（フェイスプリント、顔テンプレート）、 その他の生体情報は一切取得しません。個人を identify（識別・特定）する処理は行いません。
- 使いみち — 検出した領域へモザイク・ぼかし・目線を重ねるためだけに使います。 本人確認、認証、広告、統計、機械学習の学習データなど、他の目的には一切使用しません。
- 処理する場所 — Apple が OS に用意している Vision フレームワークを用いて、 すべて利用者のデバイス上で完結します。外部の顔認識サービスは利用しません。
- 保存 — 検出結果はアプリの実行中のメモリ上にのみ存在します。 ファイル、データベース、設定領域（UserDefaults）、キーチェーン、iCloud のいずれにも書き込みません。
- 保持期間 — 別の写真・動画を読み込んだとき、または本アプリを終了したときに直ちに失われます。 それ以降どこにも残りません（保持期間はゼロです）。
- 共有・送信 — 顔データを第三者と共有することはありません。 開発者を含む誰のサーバーにも送信しません。本アプリはネットワーク通信を一切行いません。
6. 子どものプライバシー
本アプリは 13 歳未満の子どもを対象として個人情報を意図的に収集することはありません。
7. データの削除
編集中に作られる一時ファイルは、保存または編集の終了とともに破棄されます。 デバイス内に保存した設定は、本アプリをアンインストールすることで完全に消去できます。 写真ライブラリへ保存した加工結果は、写真アプリから削除できます。 開発者側には削除すべきデータが存在しないため、削除依頼の連絡は不要です。
8. 改定
本ポリシーは予告なく改定されることがあります。 重要な変更がある場合は、本アプリのアップデート時に通知します。

Mosaic (the “App”) hides the parts of a photo or video you do not want to show. This policy describes what data the App handles and how.
1. Data we handle
The App handles the photos and videos the user chooses to open (“Media Data”). Media Data, and anything derived from it such as detected face positions, is processed entirely on-device. The App also stores the chosen effect and its strength locally. The App does not collect names, email addresses, location, device identifiers, or usage analytics, and no account is required.
2. Where data is stored
Media Data resides only in device memory and temporary storage while being edited. Edited results are written only to the user’s own photo library. Media Data is never transmitted to any server operated by the developer or any third party.
3. No developer-operated servers
The App does not store any user data on developer-operated servers. The App makes no network connections at all. It sends no analytics, crash reports, or tracking identifiers, and contains no advertising.
4. Third-party services
- Apple Photos / PhotosUI – used to open Media Data and to save edited results. Media reaches the App only through the system photo picker, and only for the items the user selects. Add-only permission is requested solely for saving. Apple’s Privacy Policy applies.
- Apple Vision – used for face detection. Processing is completed on-device; neither images nor detection results are transmitted anywhere.
- Apple App Store / StoreKit – used to process the “Mosaic Pro” subscription. Purchase information is handled by Apple; the developer receives only whether a subscription is active. Apple’s Privacy Policy applies.
5. Face data
The App detects faces solely to decide where to place a concealment. The following is exhaustive.
- What is collected — only the position and size of the rectangular area a face occupies in the image or video, together with its roll angle. The App does not collect facial landmarks (detailed eye, nose, or mouth positions), faceprints or face templates, or any other biometric data. The App performs no identification of individuals.
- Purpose — used only to overlay a mosaic, blur, or eye bar on the detected area. It is never used for identification, authentication, advertising, analytics, or machine-learning training.
- Where it is processed — entirely on the user’s device, using Apple’s Vision framework built into the operating system. No external face-recognition service is used.
- Storage — detection results exist only in memory while the App is running. They are never written to any file, database, settings store (UserDefaults), keychain, or iCloud.
- Retention — discarded immediately when another photo or video is opened, or when the App is closed. Nothing remains afterwards; the retention period is zero.
- Sharing and transmission — face data is never shared with any third party and is never transmitted to any server, including the developer’s. The App makes no network connections at all.
6. Children’s privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Data deletion
Temporary files created during editing are discarded when the edit is saved or ended. Locally stored settings are permanently deleted by uninstalling the App. Edited results saved to the photo library can be deleted from the Photos app. There is no data on the developer side that requires a deletion request.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated without prior notice. Material changes will be announced in App update notes.
